Hello everyone, here is the full story behind the AM SilkGlass — our glass mousepad that started as a Discord teaser and has since become one of the most talked-about additions to the AM gaming setup lineup.

Here's everything you need to know.

AM SilkGlass Gaming Mouse Pad

2 Micrometer Engraved Silk Pattern — Smooth and Precise

The surface of AM SilkGlass features a micro-etched finish with a precision of just 2 micrometers. This unique, matte yet silk-smooth texture is achieved through a carefully selected, impurity-free etching solution, ensuring a uniform finish across its large surface area.

The silk-like surface not only minimizes reflection and glare for uninterrupted use, but also reduces friction during movement — creating a "magnetic levitation" effect that feels both ultra-smooth and incredibly precise.

When paired with the AM Infinity Mouse, this effect becomes even more pronounced. The already ultra-light mouse feels lighter still, and virtually silent during use.

Nano Coating — Durable and Easy to Maintain

We apply a specialized nano-coating to the 2-micrometer etched surface, enhancing the glass's durability and preserving the integrity of the micro-etched texture over time.

This coating also makes cleaning effortless. After extended use, a simple wipe restores the surface to its original smoothness.

Thermal Tempering, 7H Hardness, and Ultra-Flat

The fine float glass undergoes thermal tempering in a furnace heated to nearly 700°C, resulting in a Mohs hardness rating of 7H across the entire mousepad — surpassing that of a supercar windshield.

This exceptional strength ensures that no mouse will scratch the surface, even with prolonged daily use. A custom mold is employed for precise pressing and flattening, guaranteeing consistent cursor movement feedback across the full 490 × 420mm surface — right to the edges and corners.

Large Surface Area with 4mm Thickness

After being shaped with a custom mold, the glass itself measures just 3mm thick. With the anti-skid feet, total thickness remains under 4mm — thinner and flatter than an iPad Pro, yet completely rigid with zero flex.

The expansive 490 × 420mm dimensions provide ample space for sweeping movements, ensuring pixel-perfect precision even in the most intense gaming scenarios.

Gold Paisley — A Statement Piece for Your Desk

AM SilkGlass features the Gold Paisley pattern, a signature design from CYBERBOARD's "The Novel Project". Inspired by the iconic Kith × Versace collaboration, it blends high-end fashion with street style — transforming your desk into something worth looking at.

Rounded Edges with Mirror Polish

The edges of AM SilkGlass are carefully rounded and polished for comfortable handling and easy transport. All curved edges undergo a meticulous mirror-polishing process — a high-difficulty finish that makes the Gold Paisley pattern stand out even more vividly.
