The Misty Dusk edition of ATM 98 draws inspiration from Tadao Ando's iconic minimalist concrete masterpiece, the Church of the Light.
Its raw concrete style is not about practicality, environmental friendliness, or tranquility. It represents a higher dimension, a form of self-cultivation. It is a ritual of restraint, a way to connect with nature and explore the essence of light.
The matte gray finish, paired with RGB illumination, highlights the beauty of architectural lines, where texture and light converge in perfect harmony.

Silent x Mechanical: Quiet, Yet Exceptionally Creamy
Despite its design for quietness, the ATM 98 delivers a custom mechanical typing experience unlike any traditional keyboard. Each keystroke is smooth, with a crisp bottom-out and clean rebound, letting you sink effortlessly into your workflow.
Tried-and-True Custom Internals (Gasket Mount)
The ATM 98 features an 8-layer gasket dampening system, including anFR4 plate, Rogers Poron foam, switch pad, sound-dampening mat, and EDPM bottom foam.
Refined through years of testing and optimization in the custom keyboard community, this structure delivers a superb typing feel while effectively eliminating hollowness and scratchiness.
Bsun Light Sakura Switch: Smooth and Silent
After 3 rounds of blind testing with 23 participants, our team selected the Bsun Light Sakura switch for the ATM 98. But we didn’t stop there, after working closely with Bsun, we made multiple optimizations to the switch design, even going so far as to adjust the molds.
The result is a custom S-shaped damping stem structure, delivering a crisper bottom-out feel compared to conventional silent switches. Paired with LY material, known for its ultra-low friction, the Light Sakura switch ensures every keystroke is smoother, quieter, and more precise.
Thanks to the perfect synergy between the switch, keyboard internals, and acoustic design, ATM 98 offers a typing experience that is silent, crisp, and buttery smooth. It's a combination rarely seen in silent keyboards.
Productivity Meets Style: 98% layout with Star Ring
The tried-and-true 98-key layout delivers the full functionality of a standard keyboard, including a dedicated numpad—perfect for productivity.
On top of that, we added a customizable knob called the Star Ring. It works out of the box for volume control but can be easily customized through our software, with instant mode switching via hotkeys.
The Star Ring went through 15 design iterations before reaching its final form. The metal upper half ensures a solid and premium feel, while the acrylic lower half showcases a bold, stylish RGB presence.

Comfortable Typing: 18.8mm Front Height + 8° Typing Angle
Front height is kept at 18.8mm, which was made possible by adopting a relatively simple Gasket Mount. This allows for comfortable typing even without a palm rest.
A typing angle of 7 to 8 degrees has been recognized as the gold standard among mechanical keyboard enthusiasts. After extensive testing, we settled on 8 degrees, as it's the ideal angle to keep the function row within easy reach.
The combination of 18.8mm front height and 8° typing angle ensures a comfortable, ergonomic typing experience while keeping every key accessible on the spacious 98% layout.

The ATM 98 leverages Angry Miao’s expertise in tuning 5G mobile signals, ensuring superior RF stability. Unlike most tri-mode keyboards with randomly placed antennas, the ATM 98 meets the same high RF standards as other Angry Miao keyboards. Our team carefully selected the most stable RF chips, designed custom antennas, and conducted rigorous signal testing.
Dedicated antenna openings may slightly affect aesthetics, but they guarantee rock-solid wireless performance, including smooth, lag-free 2.4G connectivity for gaming.
