CYBERBOARD Novel 2, designed by Monica, draws inspiration from her passion for Pink Floyd.

The iconic album, The Dark Side of the Moon, with its profound exploration of human nature, inspired the vision for the CYBERBOARD Novel 2 – the Eclipse colorway.

The design features a captivating, psychedelic multicolor gradient on anodized metal, with a dynamic metallic sheen that shifts with light.

It evokes the mystery of The Dark Side of the Moon, symbolizing the ever-changing ways people connect, adapt, and navigate life’s complexities, much like the album’s meditation of the human experience.

To complement this design, Angry Miao pioneered the use of irregular patterns beneath multi-colored anodizing, with more precise control over the color regions.

This innovation, though challenging, ultimately led to a successful production.

CYBERBOARD Novel 2 - Eclipse also marks Angry Miao's first foray into custom keycap design to match the keyboard’s aesthetics.

Large keys and select Function keycaps feature five-side dye sublimation, creating a reflective effect that plays with light and shadow.

The paisley pattern is one of the key elements of West Coast gangster rap, while gold is one of the most important "attributes" in hip-hop.

CYBERBOARD Gold Paisley takes its inspiration from the Kith x Versace collab, with perfected golden accents to represent a luxurious yet unconventional visual style.

For the first time, we applied a full black background to the multi-color anodized bottom panel. This provides CYBERBOARD Golden Paisley with a more unified look, and fully expresses the street culture behind its design.

CYBERBOARD, an iconic product launched by Angry Miao in 2019, has gone through more than four iterations.

To unleash its potential, we have decided to open up the capabilities of multi-color anodizing on the CYBERBOARD process and release the white model renderings of CYBERBOARD, inviting users, brands, IP holders, and more from around the world to join our in-house designers in co-creating the future color schemes for CYBERBOARD.
