Inspired by Black Myth: Wukong
The Cyberboard Novel 4 - Wukong draws inspiration from the powerful image of the Monkey King in Black Myth: Wukong. It is designed as a modern artifact for players and enthusiasts who want to carry a piece of this legend into their everyday setup.
Golden Chainmail Armor (Sides)
Inspired by traditional Chinese chainmail patterns, high-power laser etching creates a tactile, scale-like texture. Combined with golden anodizing, it represents Monkey King’s iconic armor.
Seas and Waves (Front)
The front of Cyberboard Wukong captures the Monkey King’s heroic leap from the Eastern Sea. Deep blue anodizing sets the stage as waves crash across the surface, while flowing cloud patterns rise above them. Inspired by classical Chinese art, radiant colors infuse the clouds with a sense of divine light, just like a sky glowing with auspicious hues.
Next to the arrow keys, the bold character 空 (Kong, "emptiness") is inscribed in calligraphy. Simple, powerful, and symbolic of higher wisdom.

Clouds and Mountains (Back)
The back transforms into a miniature “Island of Immortals.” Layers of clouds and mountains are rendered through multi-color anodizing, with touches of green peeking between them. Together, they create a tranquil scene of timeless serenity.
The Name of the Monkey King
Ordinary fonts cannot capture the weight of Wukong's title. On the surface, we engraved his full name in ancient seal script, the same style seen on The Compliant Golden-Hooped Rod aka.Ruyi Jingu Bang:
"花果山美猴王"

Custom Keycaps: Journey to the West
The story continues through a set of 5-sided dye-sub PBT custom keycaps, where patterns of clouds and waves flow seamlessly across the entire layout.
The main colors are deep black and dark blue, evoking the night sky and the sea, with golden legends shining on top.
The arrow keys feature gold-red accents with subtle cloud motifs that echo the engraved 空 beside them.
Each keycap is precisely aligned to ensure perfect continuity, with obsessive attention to detail.

Enter - Mountains: Etched ridges symbolizing endurance and determination.
Spacebar - Waves: Dynamic wave patterns representing freedom and momentum.
ESC - Origin: Etched with the Angry Miao logo, marking both the starting point and six years of CYBERBOARD's evolution.
The Novel Project
CYBERBOARD, an iconic product launched by Angry Miao in 2019, has gone through more than four iterations.
To unleash its potential, we have decided to open up the capabilities of multi-color anodizing on the CYBERBOARD process and release the white model renderings of CYBERBOARD, inviting users, brands, IP holders, and more from around the world to join our in-house designers in co-creating the future color schemes for CYBERBOARD.
