Lin's INDUSTRIAL PACK I Artisan Keycap
For this artisan keycap, Atelier Lin drew inspiration from architectural history, particularly the post-modernist era. This era emphasized that function often takes precedence over form, resulting in a departure from unnecessary decoration.
This shift paved the way for movements like Brutalism and Structuralism. In the wake of World War II, numerous projects emerged as experimental platforms.
These showcased elements such as massive structural columns, exposed pipes, and iron grilles used as basic flooring.
Over time, these structural elements transformed into a distinct form of decoration.
The result is Lin's INDUSTRIAL PACK keycap collection, which features two series in total. This release consists of a set that includes a valve and a grille.
