The exposed metal gears represent the fierce determination of Spartan supersoldiers, while the RGB lighting reflected off the desk mirrors the intelligence and precision of Halo's AI, Cortana.

The precisely engineered knob enables smooth switching between different board modes. As you rotate it, the DRY STUDIO logo, suspended within the gearset, spins, mimicking a miniature solar system, hence the name "Planetary Gearset".

The design team refined the prototype seven times, perfecting the key elements of the hollow planetary gearset: hollowness, rotation / revolution, and mode-switching.

In response to user feedback about dazzling direct RGB, the team enhanced the electronics to utilize the hollow structure, creating a softer lighting effect reflected off the desk.

The result is not only an ultra-convenient mode-switching experience without the need for a computer, but also a sense of cosmic warfare that adds a touch of ritual to your setup.

Planetary Gearset: Ultra Fast RT Mode Switching

Experience seamless daily use and high-performance gaming with just a single keyboard.

Whether it's for daily office use, Valorant, CS:GO or LOL, each configuration is saved directly to the keyboard via the planetary gearset. A separate device center is not required.

When switching modes, the planetary gearset flashes red three times to confirm a successful switch.

Additionally, you can customize the lighting colors for each mode via our device center, providing clear visual cues tailored to you.

Four Customizable Modes

We collaborated with top-ranked esports enthusiasts from our community and professional gamers to develop four distinct RT configurations for the ice ring 63 RT.

These preset modes ensure users can jump into gaming right out of the box.

Life, Valorant, Battle, and Self-Only modes cater to four different usage scenarios.

* For all four profiles, you can fine-tune the settingsand apply them directly to the keyboard via the device center. You can also customize the corresponding lighting effect.

The First Magnetic Keyboard With Hardware Temperature Drift Control

Hall effect sensors in magnetic switches can suffer from accuracy issues due to heat buildup during prolonged use. While software-controlled temperature drift is a low-cost and widely adopted solution in the industry, the ice ring 63 RT goes a step further.

To fully resolve temperature drift, effective heat dissipation of the hall effect sensor is crucial. The ice ring 63 RT features an open inner assembly design that allows for unobstructed airflow in all four directions, ensuring maximum heat dissipation efficiency for the PCB.

The PCB is finished with a nano coating, that is waterproof and anti-static. This allows us to adopt an open inner assembly design while offering the advantages of a closed one.

We also developed a metal keyboard bottom cover with cut-outs for the ice ring 63 RT, providing optimal heat dissipation for the hall effect sensor.

During testing, the ice ring 63 RT sustained an impressive RT accuracy of 0.01mm even after 60 hours of continuous gaming.

To enhance the aesthetic appeal of the heat dissipating bottom cover, we created a custom mold that incorporates the design of the planetary gearset into the cut-outs, blending functionality with style.

Real · Full Metal Body

The most comprehensive full metal keyboardin its competitive price range.

The all-aluminum alloy body is crafted into a single piece, resulting in a design that is both sturdy and elegant, yet lightweight. It's tough enough to withstand the test of time and light enough for easy portability.

To eliminate seams and screws between the top and bottom covers, and achieve maximum structural strength, we used a 160-ton cold casting press. This unibody design not only maximizes material strength but also creates a sleek, seamless curve for an elegant appearance.

All gears in the planetary knob are precision CNC-machined from 6063 aluminum alloy. To createflawless gears, we developed a custom cutting tool, ensuring ultra-high accuracy. This results in flawless meshing between the center gear, planetary gears, and outer ring gear.

The final 1:22 gear ratio allows the planetary gears to rotate four times per full knob turn. Even when you're not switching modes, you can enjoy spinning your own miniature planetary system.

The bottom cover with planetary gearset shaped cut-outs also functions as the hall effect sensor heat sink, enhancing both aesthetics and airflow.

The design incorporates a range of custom metal parts, giving the board a genuine full-metal feel from the inside out. The unibody aluminum alloy construction eliminates the unsightly seams often seen in lower-quality metal keyboards.

This robust build not only enhances durability but also ensures exceptional heat dissipation.

Additionally, understanding the frequent travel needs of professional gamers between esports event venues, we’ve optimized the design to maximize strength, stability, and metal quality, while minimizing weight for easy portability.
