The result is two original silhouettes that carry familiar design codes into something unmistakably contemporary.
Model R — A New Classic for Exploration
Model R takes inspiration from classic glacier eyewear and the culture of alpine exploration.
Traditional mountain eyewear was built for unfamiliar, extreme environments, often using enclosed frames and side protection to shield the eyes from intense light.
Model R reinterprets that philosophy rather than reproducing it. Purposeful cutouts balance coverage with openness, transforming the visual language of classic glacier eyewear into something lighter, more expressive, and distinctly modern.
Model S — Carrying 1985 Forward
In 1985, Frogskins helped bring a bold new sports silhouette into popular culture.
Model S channels that same sense of freedom, reinterpreting the raised brow line, generous lens proportions, and energetic stance through a semi-rimless construction and transparent materials.
Connections and moving parts are left deliberately visible. Instead of hiding the mechanics, Model S makes them part of the design.
From city streets to the outdoors, everyday wear to creative expression, Model S carries the optimism, movement, and futurism of the era forward.
Texture That Goes Beyond the Surface
REAL OPEN GHOST moves beyond conventional injection-molded frame construction with imported Italian acetate, selected for its depth, tactility, and distinctive finish.
Each frame undergoes up to 72 hours of multi-stage processing, including cutting, tumbling, polishing, and finishing.
The result is a richer gloss, a warmer feel in the hand, and a level of material depth that reveals itself over time.

REAL OPEN GHOST uses German OBE screw-structure hinges to give every opening and closing motion a stable, precise, and deliberate feel.
It is a small interaction you repeat every day, so we treated it like part of the design.
Bold Frames. ZEISS Lenses.
Every REAL OPEN GHOST configuration comes standard with ZEISS lenses, offering UV protection up to 400 nm.
Lens characteristics vary by configuration, with different filter categories and levels of visible light transmission, or VLT, to suit different environments.
The red-orange lens offers UV protection up to 400 nm, covering the UVA and UVB spectrum. With approximately 15.9% VLT, it is classified as Category 3, making it well suited to bright daylight and strong outdoor light.
Prescription-Ready. Not Just for Sunny Days.
A pair of glasses you love shouldn’t only come out when the sun does.
REAL OPEN GHOST supports prescription lens replacement. Simply take the frame to a professional optical shop and have lenses fitted to your prescription and everyday needs.
With the right lenses installed, you can keep wearing the silhouette you love for work and commuting, studying and reading, relaxing at home, or everyday outings.
One Silhouette. Two Fits.
Faces vary. The design should not have to.
That is why REAL OPEN GHOST is available in two dedicated fits: Asian Fit and European Fit.
Both share the same lens dimensions, bridge width, and temple length. What changes is the temple angle and overall lateral wearing space, allowing the same silhouette to sit naturally across a wider range of facial structures.

European Fit is better suited to higher nose bridges and narrower head shapes, while Asian Fit adds a higher nose pad and wider headroom for lower nose bridges and wider head shapes.
