Icy Silver Pro V2 Switches (90pcs)

Came well lubed and in nice packaging. They have a lovely light thocky sound that reminds me of clear marbles. There was a bit of a learning curve for me because the actuation force is lower than my previous switches but overall a smooth, fast, comfy experience.

These switches came in great condition. Every switch was flawless, no bent pins in the package, and crystal clear. Aesthetics are a 10/10!

Typing on these switches is a completely unique experience. They are definitely not linear, there is a VERY slight and rounded bump. If youre looking for something with a snappy break to the tactile bump, think like gazzew u4ts, these are not for you. The one thing that stands out for these switches is they are buttery smooth. Absolutely no scratch, no spring ping, and nearly silent. I would call these creamy. With good key caps they have a decent sound profile, thocky on bottom out and top out, but more of a muted thock at least on the keyboard I had tested them on (Lemokey L3, I have a Holy 60 on the way that I will try them on as well). In terms of total typing experience, they are so smooth it is actually a bit disorienting. It's extremely satisfying if you appreciate tight tolerances and the smoothness that comes with that. It takes some getting used to but I have a feeling these will likely be my preferred switch for work as they don't lead to any finger fatigue after many hours and the quieter nature makes them ideal for a shared space.

For gaming, they are a decent switch, helped by the fact that they are quiet light to actuate. The lack of a pronounced bump makes it difficult to be sure you pressed the key unless you bottom out your keys on every press. If you are used to linear speed switches, or generally prefer linear switches you will probably like these, however they do lose out to switches like Cherry Speed Silvers since those actuate almost immediately and these seem to record a keystroke closer to 50-60% of the way down, meaning light keystrokes don't give you the same sense of security. I personally prefer my UT4X switches for gaming as the very pronounced bump feels better to me during gaming where I want to be sure the button I pressed definitely hit the actuation point.

All in all, for a premium switch I would rate these an 8/10, if you're looking for a linear/tactile hybrid that doesn't feel like anything else out there, they are definitely worth the try. If you're even considering them I would go for it for the novelty alone. Even if they end up not being to your taste they are undoubtedly a very high quality switch that you can use on the occasion that you want something different for a bit.

The switches are very nice. although when they arrived in the mail, the plastic packaging that they came in was damaged. the switches were fine it just scared me a bit lol.

I've tried the V1s and currently using the pro v2 platinum edition switches, the difference was surprisingly obvious! Personal experience for the V1s was that it gives off a nice crispy and bright acoustics, the typing feel is really smooth and straightforward. But the V2 platinum editions are my personal favourite now, the switches adds a little bit more resistance than the V1s, making it feel like i'm typing / pressing in on butter as compared to water (V1s), which i loved it. Once i got used to it, it felt amazing! The acoustics of the platinum edition ones are insane, it is a little more dampened, not as crisp as the V1s but it sounds super thocky and holistic but yet having that signature crisp, its very well balanced between extreme thock but yet having that mahjong(y) vibes, with a nice crisp. I've got to say I LOVE the sounds of the big keys, especially the backspace and the enter keys, it sounds sooo good with the switches and angry miao's stablilisers!

It is very smooth and tasty!
