Hello everyone, this is the Angry Miao team. The AM Infinity Mouse is here.
After months of leaks and anticipation, our mysterious new mouse has finally arrived. To answer every question you've had about this product, we've put together this post covering the full story — from why we made it, to how it works, to what it weighs.

Why make a mouse? Didn't you say four years ago that you wouldn't?
Indeed. At Angry Miao's new product launch in 2020, our CEO Nan released the CYBERCOIN accessory for the GPW and declared, "We will never make a mouse again."
At the time, the GPW represented the pinnacle of wireless mouse design — it was the best mouse on the market, and we had the utmost respect for it.
However, when we got our hands on the fourth-generation GPW in 2024, six years had passed, and GPW had essentially remained stagnant. Its design, materials, and weight had all become mediocre compared to other gaming mice on the market.
Today, we wanted to apply Angry Miao's design language to truly unify functionality and aesthetics — creating a mouse with top-tier gaming performance that is both beautiful and practical.
What is the design philosophy behind the hollowing out of the AM Infinity Mouse?
After extensive use across various hand grips, we identified the high-frequency contact points.
Creating an ultra-lightweight design for gaming mice is a primary focus in the market today, especially to meet the demands of esports. However, simply hollowing out the mouse to reduce weight isn't sufficient for us.
Using the GPW mold as a base, we painted the entire mouse red. After prolonged use by employees with different habits and scenarios, the ink on the high-frequency contact areas gradually wore off. We then provided this mouse to our ID designer, who skillfully removed the remaining inked sections to inform the new design.
We also provided a wide range of test clay molds to assess various hand grips.

How does the AM Infinity Mouse achieve its "infinite battery life"?
High-performance mice on the market — such as the Viper V3 Pro with a PAW3950 sensor and 8K polling rate — face real battery anxiety: when performance is maxed out, they can only last around 16 hours. Players are hesitant to use them at full capacity, and some even prepare two mice. This is not ideal.
The AM Infinity Mouse solves this with a 1.2-second hot-swappable magnetic battery system.
The mouse ships with two batteries. While one battery powers the mouse, the other charges on the 2.4G receiver sitting on your desk. When the active battery runs low, swapping takes just 1.2 seconds — like reloading a weapon mid-match. Eight high-performance magnets ensure zero wobble and zero noise, even during intense gaming. The magnetic hold is strong enough to support a full 348ml water bottle.
Each battery offers around 43 hours of use at 1K polling rate. Two batteries in rotation means you never stop playing.
What size is the AM Infinity Mouse, and what hand sizes does it fit?
The AM Infinity Mouse uses a shape inspired by the GPW — a versatile design that has been validated over six years on the market. It has been hollowed out based on this mold, offering good compatibility with most hand sizes and gripping styles.

For users with smaller hands or those who prefer claw and fingertip grips, we've developed two solutions:
-
3D-printed rear accessory — a dedicated add-on that better fits the back of the mouse to smaller palms and firmer grip styles.
-
AM Infinity .97 — a 3% smaller variant of the Infinity Mouse, optimized specifically for claw and fingertip grip, featuring a hatchback rear cover and solid sides for improved stability. Starting at $179.
How much does the AM Infinity Mouse weigh?
-
Wired: 39g
-
Wireless: 49g
Among large-sized, full-metal hollow mice, it is among the lightest available. The magnesium-aluminum alloy construction is significantly stronger than plastic at the same weight, while also delivering a superior texture and feel.

What material is the AM Infinity Mouse made of?
We chose magnesium-aluminum alloy as the primary material to achieve sufficient structural strength at a minimal weight. This required an uncompromising investment in precision steel mold-making, premium material selection, hand polishing, and final surface treatment.
The design draws from the Lotus Evanora Concept — a philosophy of integrating appearance and structure into a single unified whole, maintaining exceptional rigidity and texture while significantly reducing weight.

What colors is the AM Infinity Mouse available in?
The AM Infinity Mouse is available in:
-
Basalt Black
-
Cloud White
-
Blaze Orange
-
Mirror Shadow (Limited Edition) — a high-gloss dark mirror finish inspired by Hajime Sorayama's iconic metallic aesthetic. Due to an extremely demanding QC process, the yield rate at flawless standard was just over 20%, making this colorway genuinely rare. Available in Standard and Collector's editions.
